The stud was established in 1971 with Section As' Cwnantgwyn Haley, Dyrin Funfair and Sunrising Poppy.

Now we have Poppy's great grand-daughter Sunrising Perfect Day, her daughter Manorfields Posy and her daughters Peony and Pancake. We are into our eighth generation.

Pendock Torchlight, by Bengad Dragon Arum, out of Pendock Daylight is our three year old colt, and has covered 5 mares this time.
We have only one Section A filly foal left for sale. All foals have been sold apart from a Colt that we are keeping by Manorfields Kestrel.
We only have one Section B mare, Monolaw Maggie May, that we show very successfully locally. Sunrising Clover has been sold.
Our stallion was Locksley Khul 'N' Obvious (aka JOEY) by Skellorn Silver Coin out of Wortley Lily of the Valley, but we have since gelded him. Both times he was shown this season he has won. Locksley Khul 'n' Obvious is currently for sale, broken and going well under saddle. He is a strong liver chestnut, foaled in 2006 with a lovely temperament.
We currently have only one mare. Talsarn Mayfly who has a filly foal that we are very pleased with.
Our section D enterprise started 17 years ago when we purchased Six Oakes Prince David and were given Madeni Brenda from Mrs Alison Mountain at Twyford Stud. We have bred a total of six full brothers and sisters, all of whom are performing well. The latest success being Manorfields Marquis, who won his first Prix St. George in July 2008 aged 16 years. A fantastic achievement for a full cob.
We believe Marquis to have gained the most dressage points for a full Welsh Cob ever, in the World.
Manorfields Matilda, full sister to Marquis, has a superb colt foal on her by Wanniger (Grand Prix Dressage Horse).
We also breed large and small part-bred's. Large part-bred's that have done well out of our TB mares by Six Oaks Prince David include: Beau Gueste, 17 hh, eventer, Bluebell, dressage, Betsy - champion small hunter and brood mare, now the property of Mrs. J Cope, winning Kent County, Thame and 2nd at the National Hunter Show. Her three foals have been unbeaten. Tarquin, 6 years, just started competing.
